Timeline

You will receive your first digital proof 3-5 business days from the time you submit your order. Each round of revisions after that takes 2 business days. Once your order is signed off by you for final approval, we will begin production on your order. At this point, no further edits can be made to your design. Production and printing takes 2-3 weeks.

Color

Colors can vary from screen to screen. If you are wanting a very specific color, it is recommended to provide a Pantone color swatch or a hex code. Letterpress ink is mixed by hand and may not be a 100% match.

Variations

Handmade papers are made by hand. There may be size, shape, thickness, and color variations from sheet to sheet. We find the imperfections beautiful!

The handmade nature of letterpress will also create slight variations from piece to piece. Any variations are not flaws, but a result of the handcrafted process of working with a very old printing press. We do our very best to match the colors on our screen as accurately as we can, but cannot guarantee that the printed color will look exactly like the screen color. 

Revisions

Any round of revisions after the 2 free rounds is an additional $75.

Rush Orders

If you need to rush your order, you can do so for an additional $250. This includes receiving your first proof in 1-2 business days rather than our typical 3-5, 1 day responses with any rounds of revisions, and printing in 1-2 weeks rather than our typical 2-3 weeks. Basically, we will move through your design and printing as fast as we possibly can. This does not include rush shipping. 

Shipping

All orders are shipped with UPS ground shipping with varying cost based on size and weight. Every package will come with a tracking number.

Envelope Addressing

Due to the nature of lettering, some addresses or calligraphy styles will be more or less difficult to read when put through USPS. Any address that can not be read by machine will most likely be hand inspected. If the address still can not be delivered, it will be returned to the return address. Vendor is not responsible for resending, reprinting, or reimbursing for invitations or addresses that do not make it to their intended address. As with any mass mailing, you are likely to have 1-3% of your pieces be undeliverable. Please check your address list carefully to ensure all your addresses are correct to minimize this effect. Addresses will be printed exactly as they appear on provided list from Client. Vendor will not make etiquette or spelling corrections. 

Returns

Unfortunately the custom nature of our products don't allow us to accept refund or exchanges. It is our goal that the client is satisfied with our product so for this reason multiple approvals will be required during the design process. A final approval form will be sent once you are happy with the design. Once we receive your signed approval any changes will have additional fees. If there is a printing error made on our part, we will either reprint the paper goods or provide a credit for the misprint. If there is an error with the wording that was approved by the client, the costs of reprinting must be covered by the client.

Handmade Products

Handmade paper, hand assembled wax seals, and any other piece of your invitations that is specified as "handmade" or "hand assembled", may vary due to its handmade nature.

Design Property

All designs and concepts are property of The Flywheel Press. The Flywheel Press retains all rights to use the preliminary and completed designs for the purpose of display or for other clients, upon request.

Cancellation

If there is a need to cancel your order, please contact The Flywheel Press right away. If your final approval has not been received and your project has not gone into production, you are responsible for your deposit and any materials that have been purchased. If your project has gone into the production process you are responsible for the entire amount as stated in your contract. Because of the personalization of custom stationery, orders are non-refundable, without exception. Every effort is made to assure your satisfaction.
